**Clinical Psychologist (Band 8a)**

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist or final year Trainee Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in clinical health psychology and the impact of living with health conditions.

The role will involve working closely with the medical service multidisciplinary team to provide a specialist clinical psychology service for children and young people. This will include consultation to staff, direct work, and attending multidisciplinary clinics.

The main duties of the role will include:

  • Providing a specialist clinical psychology service for children and young people to help them better manage psychological distress and obtain better treatment outcomes.
  • Working closely with the medical service multidisciplinary team to provide consultation to staff, direct work, and attending multidisciplinary clinics.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of clinical psychology services within the trust.
  • Providing training and supervision to others within and outside of the multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will join a welcoming and growing Clinical Psychology Department which incorporates specialisms in Paediatric Psychology, Adult Medical Psychology, and Child and Adult Neuropsychology. The department has a commitment to clinical research and offers opportunities for continued professional development and clinical supervision.
