Pertemps Recruitment Partnership Ltd is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Worker to join our client, a leading secondary school in Warwickshire.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people. You will be providing vital support to a student with an EHC plan during unstructured times throughout the school day, ensuring their emotional and social well-being is nurtured.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate a positive and supportive environment for the student by monitoring their emotional and social development, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
  • Prioritize the safety and well-being of all students, adhering to strict safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Promptly report any safeguarding concerns to the school's Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and accurately document them in the relevant IT system.
  • Encourage adherence to the school's behavior code and effectively manage behavioral incidents, contributing to a positive learning environment for all.
What We Look For:
  • A recent DBS check is essential due to the nature of this role.
  • Experience working within primary or secondary education settings is highly desirable, but not mandatory. A genuine passion for supporting young people and a commitment to their well-being are key.
  • Alignment with the school's ethos and values is crucial for success in this position.
