Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager - Command Recruitment
Our esteemed client is in search of a distinguished Sales Manager to spearhead their sales division at a Pre-Owned Vehicle Dealership. This organization offers a diverse range of vehicles catering to various customer preferences, ensuring a broad market appeal. This position presents an exceptional opportunity to thrive in a dynamic environment alongside top-tier colleagues, providing access to a wide array of brands, makes, and models.
This role is ideally suited for an ambitious Business Manager or Transaction Manager aspiring to elevate their career into a more prominent position.
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading, motivating, and managing your team to achieve excellence in customer service while meeting the company's key performance indicators. You will ensure the dealership operates efficiently, oversee the presentation of the Retail Centre, and cultivate strong relationships with your team. Collaborating closely with other departments, you will be actively involved in the daily operations of the centre, striving for the highest sales outcomes and customer service standards.
In addition to your customer-focused mindset, you will possess a commercial acumen, a passion for the automotive sector, and a drive to set, achieve, and surpass targets.

Your Responsibilities
- Unlock the potential of the sales team by establishing ambitious objectives and providing ongoing feedback on performance.
- Ensure appropriate resourcing for the sales team on a daily and long-term basis.
- Maintain positive relationships.
- Guarantee compliance with all obligations related to customer experience and manufacturer standards within the sales environment.
- Thorough understanding of manufacturer targets to ensure the team maximizes every opportunity.
- Encourage the sales team to assess processes for optimal efficiency.
- Be open to innovative approaches and actively promote experimentation with new ideas.
- Inspire the sales team to deliver an exceptional customer experience for every client interaction.
- Oversee daily sales activities, including deal files, handovers, and sales funnels to maximize revenue.
Working Schedule
- Your work schedule will include a mix of weekends and weekdays, primarily consisting of long days over 4 or 5 days per week, depending on the rota.
Compensation and Benefits
As a Sales Manager, you will receive a competitive base salary of £42,000, along with a highly attainable bonus structure offering an OTE of £55k, in addition to various company incentives and competitions.
