HGV Tanker Technician Role

Kemp Recruitment is seeking a skilled HGV Tanker Technician to join their team of experienced professionals in the fleet maintenance industry.

About the Position
  • Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and modifications on a fleet of HGV Tankers, providing technical support from fault analysis to completion.
  • Conduct pre-MOT checks and perform any required repairs to ensure vehicles are roadworthy.
  • Conduct quality control tests and present trailers for MOTs, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Perform general HGV Tanker Technician duties, including maintenance and repair of vehicle systems.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Hold an in-depth knowledge of commercial vehicles and HGV Tankers, with a strong understanding of technical specifications and industry regulations.
  • Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but not essential) and be a fully qualified HGV Trailer Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Welding experience is highly desirable, with the ability to work with a variety of materials and equipment.
