We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Scientist to join our expanding team in the Imaging Physics and Radiation Protection group at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
This is a key role in helping us deliver our innovative collaboration with Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, providing diagnostic medical physics services across the county of Somerset and beyond.
The position is permanent and full-time, with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Main Duties of the Job
The successful candidate will work alongside a team of scientists and technologists to provide comprehensive scientific support in the fields of radiological imaging, radiation protection, and artificial optical radiations.
They will be responsible for supporting the use of radiation protection services to several trusts, including tertiary centres with large radiology and cardiology departments.
The group is heavily involved in supporting academic teaching and professional training programmes, and the successful candidate will be involved in this work.
