About the Role

Aubay UK is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Information and Digital Engineering department, you will play a vital role in developing and executing sourcing strategies that align with our business objectives.

As a Strategic Sourcing Consultant, you will serve as a vital connection between internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing sourcing strategies that optimize costs and improve supplier relationships.
  • Conducting comprehensive analyses of supplier costs, market trends, and industry benchmarks.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Utilizing data-driven insights to inform strategic sourcing decisions and actions.
  • Reporting on the tangible outcomes and value generated from sourcing initiatives.
  • Assessing and mitigating risks, including supplier disruptions, delivery quality issues, and compliance concerns.
  • Managing a complex network of senior stakeholders, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve defined business goals.

You will be working closely with our IT Strategic Sourcing Manager to drive a competitive workforce that aligns with our strategic goals. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to drive strategic sourcing initiatives and ensure supplier performance meets our standards.
