Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide technical support to internal end users for critical software applications across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to internal end users for critical software applications
  • Manage and support applications throughout their life cycle
  • Assist with the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of new and existing applications
  • Troubleshoot and analyze issues with software applications
  • Liaise with the wider team and 3rd parties/suppliers for incident management
  • Communicate with customers around the status of incidents and escalate tickets where necessary
  • Contribute to the creation, review, and update of support documentation
  • Effectively manage vendors and suppliers
Requirements
  • 1 year's minimum experience providing technical support on business-critical applications in a demanding environment
  • Ability to select the appropriate communication method for the task
  • Knowledge of ITIL and service management methodologies, in particular, Incident Management & Problem Management
  • Experience of Remote Assistance/Support
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to document processes and procedures in a clear, concise, and logical manner
  • Be a clear, logical thinker
  • Ability to challenge the status-quo and think laterally
  • Liaising with 3rd parties/suppliers for incident management
  • Strong written and verbal skills
