Overview

Introduction

The Intercompany Supply Chain Coordinator is pivotal in steering the Intercompany and Subcontract Processing Value streams, contributing to the site SIOP process and Master Production Scheduling. This role is essential for ensuring timely order fulfillment and achieving site revenue, cash, and inventory targets.

This position allows for remote work, requiring coordination with site leaders and various functions, with travel anticipated to be between 25-50% to engage with Intercompany value streams and visit primary sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and promote a culture aimed at zero harm.
  • Ensure the Intercompany SIOP produces precise plans, and the Master Production Schedule aligns with customer and business expectations, including on-time delivery, cash flow, revenue, and profit goals.
  • Advocate for continuous improvement alongside Intercompany partners using lean methodologies to enhance delivery performance and forecast accuracy for cash, inventory, and revenue objectives.
  • Travel to Intercompany and subcontract partner locations, delivering exceptional service and professionalism.
  • Manage the Intercompany Master Production Schedule within MRP, update ERP systems, and provide accurate data for site SIOP processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Customer Account Managers, production engineering, production, Quality, and Logistics.
  • Conduct material availability assessments for proposed schedule modifications.
  • Perform due diligence on all Intercompany and third-party suppliers to ensure their capacity and capabilities meet customer requirements.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

Core Requirements

  • Experience in the Aerospace sector or a related industry.
  • Background in Global and Intercompany Supply Chain planning and/or Procurement, particularly in low-cost country sourcing.
  • Significant experience in low-volume, high product mix, build-to-print, and design-to-spec environments.
  • Strong communication skills with proven negotiation and influencing abilities for mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive change management experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of Import/Export compliance and management.
  • Ability to interpret and translate Engineering drawings and documentation.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on tasks and achievements.
  • Detail-oriented with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and capable of representing the business professionally during visits to Intercompany and subcontract partners.
  • Flexible and open-minded with a strong determination to succeed.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Formal qualification in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
