Overview

Introduction

The Intercompany Supply Chain Coordinator is pivotal in steering the Intercompany and Subcontract Processing Value streams, contributing to the site SIOP process and Master Production Scheduling. This role is essential for ensuring timely order fulfillment and achieving site revenue, cash, and inventory targets.

This position allows for remote work, with the expectation of coordinating with site leaders and various functions. Frequent travel, estimated at 25-50%, will be necessary to engage with Intercompany value streams and visit primary sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations associated with the role, fostering a culture aimed at zero harm.
  • Ensure the Intercompany SIOP produces precise plans, and the Master Production Schedule aligns with customer and business expectations, including on-time delivery, cash flow, revenue, and profit goals.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives with Intercompany partners using lean methodologies to enhance delivery performance and forecast accuracy for cash, inventory, and revenue targets.
  • Travel to Intercompany and subcontract partner locations, upholding world-class service and professionalism.
  • Manage the Intercompany Master Production Schedule within MRP, updating ERP systems, and providing accurate data for site SIOP processes.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Customer Account Managers, production engineering, production, Quality, and Logistics.
  • Conduct material availability assessments for proposed schedule modifications.
  • Perform due diligence on all Intercompany and third-party suppliers to ensure their capacity and capability meet customer requirements.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

Core Requirements

  • Experience in the Aerospace sector or a comparable industry.
  • Background in Global and Intercompany Supply Chain planning and/or Procurement, particularly in low-cost country sourcing.
  • Extensive experience in low-volume, high-product-mix, build-to-print, and design-to-spec environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills with proven negotiation and influencing abilities for mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive change management experience.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of Import/Export compliance and management.
  • Capability to interpret Engineering drawings and documentation.
  • Focus on tasks and achievements.
  • Attention to detail with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and capable of representing the business professionally while visiting partners.
  • Flexible and open-minded with a strong determination to succeed.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Formal qualification in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
