We are seeking a highly skilled Medication Safety Pharmacist to join our team at Sciensus. As a Medication Safety Pharmacist, you will play a key role in promoting safe medication practices and ensuring top-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage incident reporting and conduct root cause analyses to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement patient safety training materials and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and compliance in all processes.
- Represent Sciensus in local and national safety networks to promote best practices in medication safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to improve medication safety.
- Undergraduate Degree in Pharmacy.
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and completion of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as per guidelines.
- Significant experience working as a pharmacist in a community or hospital environment.
- Experience working within clinical governance and medication safety.
- Familiar with the National Reporting & Learning System (NRLS), NRLS coding, and Yellow card reporting scheme.
- Knowledge of the Never Event Policy and Framework.
