About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support and Care Worker to join our team at GSL Education. As a Behaviour Support and Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Autism, Complex Needs, and challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support to children with challenging behaviour, Social and Emotional Mental Health needs, Autism, and those who have been through the care system.
  • Develop and implement individualised behaviour interventions.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
Requirements
  • Experience in supporting Social Emotional and Mental Health, Autism, Complex Needs, and challenging behaviour.
  • Personal and professional experience will be considered.
  • Should have experience working with children, young people or young adults with mental health requirements, challenging behaviour or Autism.
  • Must have a Clear Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce/ Child and Adult Workforce) registered to the Update Service.
  • Available for Full-Time Work – Monday to Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm.
