Job Title: Specialist Physiotherapist in Cystic Fibrosis

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust. As a Specialist Physiotherapist in Cystic Fibrosis, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with cystic fibrosis.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide physiotherapy services to patients with cystic fibrosis, including inpatient, outpatient, and community care.
  • Work closely with the multi-professional Cystic Fibrosis team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Lead the therapy team in the absence of senior staff and be involved in teaching and training of junior staff.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Physiotherapist with experience in treating patients with cystic fibrosis and acute respiratory conditions.
  • HCPC registration and evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team and leading a therapy team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
