Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapy Technical Instructor to join our dynamic team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. Main Duties and Responsibilities
  1. To provide high-quality physiotherapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
  2. To work closely with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  3. To maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to Trust policies and procedures.
  4. To provide information and advice to patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals on areas within the scope of practice.
  5. To contribute to the development and implementation of physiotherapy services, including the design and delivery of treatment programs.
  6. To participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care.
  7. To work collaboratively with other departments and teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  8. To maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to Trust policies and procedures.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Previous clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a physiotherapy or related role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Knowledge of physiotherapy principles and practices, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
