Job Description:

We are seeking a highly creative and entrepreneurial Senior Brand Manager to join our team at Westland Horticulture Ltd, a leading privately owned FMCG business. As a Senior Brand Manager, you will be responsible for driving our brands forward, championing our product portfolio, and developing strategic marketing plans to maximize revenue and improve brand loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans across our brand portfolio
  • Collaborate with the Technical, Design, and Commercial teams to identify new product opportunities and quantify commercial benefits
  • Develop product concepts and gauge trade and consumer response to add commercial value to the business
  • Manage and deliver all consumer communication across our brands
  • Oversee customer marketing communications to improve brand awareness
  • Monitor, review, and report on sales and marketing commercial activity and results to the sales team
  • Analyze customer research, consumer insight, current market conditions, and competitor information to inform the strategic direction of our brands

Requirements:

  • Brand management or product marketing background (4-5 years) with a focus on FMCG product ranges
  • Experience in marketing through all aspects, including new product development, through-the-line media communication, and setting the strategic direction for our brands
  • Evidence of growing brands, identifying growth opportunities, and gaining alignment to execute against a strategic growth plan
  • Proven skills in brand marketing, market and competitive analysis, customer insights, marketing program development, project planning, and commercial awareness
  • Experience developing marketing materials, including packaging, literature, advertising, promotions, and POS
