About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Joiner to join our dedicated team responsible for maintaining the high standards of our building stock across various healthcare facilities.
As a key member of our Estates department, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all buildings and structures within our care are safe, functional, and meet the needs of both patients and staff.
Your Responsibilities:- Carry out both new work and maintenance tasks on various building components, including internal and external woodwork repairs and renewals.
- Install and repair a range of fixtures and fittings, such as doors, locks, shelving units, kitchen furniture, and cupboards.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Proactively address maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and team members to achieve shared goals.
- Proven experience as a qualified Joiner, holding an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
- A comprehensive understanding of building construction techniques and materials.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
