Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Education Advocate to join our team at the HOPE Virtual School. As an Education Advocate, you will work closely with young people, carers, social workers, education settings, and other professionals to ensure every child has a high-quality personal education plan that supports their education and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with multi-agency partners and education settings to ensure the actions in the personal education plan are carried out.
- Support care-experienced young people in all areas of their education.
- Collaborate with the virtual school team to secure the best provision and educational outcomes for children in care.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with young people in education.
- Knowledge of the challenges children in care may face.
- Experience of planning for and achieving success.
