The ideal candidate will possess experience in a high-energy manufacturing setting and demonstrate the ability to work independently and with precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development of systems and management of inventory
- Establishment of internal controls and procedures
- Maintenance of the standard costing framework
- Financial forecasting and analysis
- Preparation and oversight of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and assessment of project progress
- Evaluation of the Sales Order Process and Work in Progress (WIP) to ensure timely invoicing, accurate treatment of payments on account, and proper allocation of costs to the cost of sales
- Supervision of payroll processes and all aspects related to PAYE and National Insurance
- Monthly payroll journal entries, including accruals for holiday pay and wage reserves
- Assistance in the formulation of the annual budget
- Coordination of inventory counts
- Review of standard and actual costs for discrepancies
- Reporting on profit margins
- Accountability for stock verification and valuation
Requirements:
- Minimum AAT qualification, with a preference for candidates pursuing further qualifications or those qualified by experience
- Background in a manufacturing context
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities
