Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Forklift Counterbalance Operator to support our client's warehouse operations.
Job Type: This is a permanent role following a successful initial trial period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and unloading shipments using a forklift.
- Picking and labeling items for dispatch.
- Conducting stock management, including regular inventory checks and organization of stock.
- Loading delivery vehicles and coordinating with delivery personnel.
- Managing shipments through a courier system and tracking delivery information.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
- Occasional local deliveries as required.
Requirements:
- Possession of a valid Counterbalance Forklift License.
- Strong punctuality and attendance record.
- Able to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 16:30.
Compensation:
Hourly rate of £12.00.
