Senior Bridge Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Bridge Engineer to join our client design team at Carrington West. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing, overseeing, and delivering high-quality bridge designs, assessments, and maintenance solutions in line with client requirements and within time and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee sound bridge design, assessment, and maintenance solutions that meet client requirements within budget and timescale.
  • Design solutions in compliance with national design standards, procedures, and client-specific requirements.
  • Produce and review scheme documents, reports, and design checks for accuracy and quality.
  • Contribute to the delivery of feasibility reports and design checks, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures.
  • Ensure designs adhere to relevant health and safety legislation, including the CDM (Construction Design and Management) Regulations.
  • Oversee the production of designs that meet quality management standards, including site-specific audits.

This is a long-term contract opportunity that falls inside IR35. You will be required to work in our client's Manchester office one day per week.
