Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership:
  • Lead and motivate a team of manufacturing workers.
  • Assign tasks and set daily production targets.
  • Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and offer training as needed.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and performance feedback.
Production Coordination:
  • Coordinate with production planning to ensure material, equipment, and resource availability for smooth production operations.
  • Establish and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.
  • Monitor and adjust production processes to optimize efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce waste.
  • Identify bottlenecks or production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with quality control to ensure adherence to product specifications and standards.
Safety and Compliance:
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, policies, and regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and take proactive measures to eliminate or mitigate risks.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles.
  • Analyse production data and performance metrics to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficiency-enhancing projects and initiatives.
Communication and Reporting:
  • Maintain effective communication channels with other departments.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on production performance, efficiency, and key metrics.
