Job Title: Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Finance Manager to join our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping us navigate the challenges of the 2025/26 budget and Medium-Term Financial Strategy (MTFS) refresh.

About the Role

The Finance Manager will work closely with the Strategic Finance Manager – Financial Planning/MTFS to lead the development and delivery of medium-term financial planning. This will involve coordinating the Council's annual budget process, aligning with Corporate and Service planning processes, and ensuring the delivery of longer-term financial sustainability in a complex and financially challenged authority.

The role will also involve coordinating financial monitoring and reporting processes across the Council, ensuring regular reporting to the council's leadership, and improving current processes to provide information that aligns financial and service delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance Business Partners and coordinate processes for the development of financial mitigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of medium-term financial planning
  • Coordinate the Council's annual budget process
  • Align with Corporate and Service planning processes
  • Ensure the delivery of longer-term financial sustainability
  • Coordinate financial monitoring and reporting processes
  • Improve current processes to provide aligned financial and service delivery information
