About the Role
Oxford Health NHS Trust is seeking a skilled and experienced Community Vaccinator to join our expanding immunisation team. As a Community Vaccinator, you will play a vital role in delivering the School Aged Immunisation Programme in Primary, Secondary, and Independent Schools, as well as other community venues.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver vaccinations to school-aged children in a variety of settings, including schools and community venues.
- Work collaboratively with schools, local authorities, and other stakeholders to promote immunisation uptake and reduce health inequalities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with schools, parents, and carers to ensure successful programme delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of immunisation policies and procedures.
- Participate in regular training and study days to enhance knowledge and skills.
