Theatre Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Technician to join our team at Forest School. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our productions, Drama lessons, and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the technical operation of Forest School events and curriculum across multiple venues.
  • Rig and operate sound, lighting, and stage equipment according to the School's needs.
  • Support the Music department with music tech and production within lessons, concerts, exams, and Music Production sessions.
  • Act as stage manager where required by the Theatre Manager.

Requirements:

  • One year of relevant experience working as a professional theatre technician in a multifunctional venue.
  • Knowledge and experience of a broad range of technical theatre aspects, including sound, light, set building, and design, and stage management.
  • Desirable: Electrical installation and formal backstage technical qualifications, as well as knowledge of LOLER and PUWER.
