About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Mildmay Oaks, a low secure and locked rehabilitation service for individuals with learning disability and autism spectrum disorder.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support senior staff in the care and therapy planning process, assisting with assessments and providing goal-directed interventions as directed.
  • Assist trained staff with the preparation, planning, and delivery of group and one-to-one occupational, therapeutic, and recreational activities, observing, recording, and reporting patient responses to the assigned clinician as appropriate.
  • Ensure the effective, timely, and accurate updating of clinical records, case files, and computerized information systems as directed, while responding to routine enquiries and standard requests for information in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to surveys, audits, and clinical research projects, assisting with the collection, analysis, and presentation of data and information as directed.
