Marchmont Care Home is dedicated to providing exceptional residential and nursing care for our residents. We are currently seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Night Shifts.
Contract Details
- Hourly Rate: £12.50 - £13.00 (Dependent on Experience)
- Weekly Hours: 33 hours
- Benefits: Pension scheme
- Annual Leave: 5.6 weeks (calculated on a full-time basis)
- PVG Required
- Onsite Parking Available
Key Attributes of a Senior Care Assistant
- Compassionate and driven individual.
- Proven experience in supporting elderly individuals, particularly those with dementia, and knowledgeable in medication administration.
- Confident in leading a care team and advocating for residents' wellbeing.
- Able to prepare, assess, and comprehend care plans.
- Qualified with SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include
- Delivering outstanding care and support to residents.
- Maintaining high standards of care at all times.
- Supervising and inspiring fellow care assistants to ensure efficient team operations.
- Assisting residents with their comprehensive care needs.
- Administering medications as per guidelines.
- Monitoring and responding to residents' wellbeing, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Collaborating with care assistants to provide effective support.
- Fostering good communication and building strong working relationships with team members.
