Role Overview
The Client Relationship Manager plays a vital role that encompasses substantial responsibility, independence, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Autonomy: Confidently manage the complete lifecycle of your client portfolio, working independently and proactively to ensure customer satisfaction and growth.
- Client Relationship Management: Sustain and enhance relationships with existing educational institutions, ensuring their satisfaction, retention, and recognizing opportunities for expansion.
- Portfolio Oversight: Supervise a portfolio of universities, schools, and colleges, serving as the primary contact and ensuring their requirements are fulfilled.
- Commercial Growth: Identify, propose, and implement strategies to broaden service offerings and elevate revenue within your portfolio.
- Client Engagement: Develop and execute client engagement strategies to strengthen partnerships and secure long-term collaboration.
- Issue Resolution: Address any concerns or challenges promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, including product development, marketing, and customer service, to ensure client feedback is integrated into our service offerings.
- Reporting: Regularly provide updates on the status of your portfolio, including growth opportunities, risks, and overall client satisfaction.
Candidate Profile
This position is well-suited for an individual with prior experience in a similar role within the edTech sector, who thrives in a fast-paced, client-centric environment. A high degree of autonomy, coupled with a strong ability to cultivate and maintain relationships while driving commercial success, is essential.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Account Management Experience: Proven history of managing and expanding client relationships, particularly within the educational sector or edTech industry.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal abilities with a knack for building strong, enduring relationships with clients.
- Business Acumen: Solid understanding of business development and the capacity to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive in recognizing potential issues and skilled at resolving them to the client's satisfaction.
- Organizational Skills: Capable of managing multiple accounts simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail.

Position Details:
- Competitive Salary: £30,000-£35,000 based on experience.
- Eligibility for Company Share Scheme: Opportunity to qualify for the company share scheme.
