Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team at Daniel Owen Ltd as a Contract Officer. As a key member of our Parking and Customer Relations Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support and service to the public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to written enquiries, representations, appeals, or statutory declarations received from members of the public in relation to Penalty Charge Notices.
  • Provide effective and efficient customer support and service within the Parking Service.
  • Work closely with the Customer Relations Team Leader to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of parking regulations and procedures to provide expert advice to customers.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.

Working Hours:

The post holder will be required to work some evenings, weekends, and occasional public holidays to meet service requirements and ensure appropriate representation of the Council with residents, the Mayor, elected members, and external bodies.
