Position Overview:

Randstad is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to support students in Key Stage 4 who require additional assistance due to special educational needs. This role is crucial in fostering an inclusive learning environment and enhancing the educational journey of students with diverse needs.

Location: East Sussex
Salary:

  • Level 1: NJC Support East Sussex Grade 2 SCP 4 £22,366 FTE, Term time plus INSET days
  • Level 2: NJC Support East Sussex Grade 5 SCP 12 £23,893 FTE, Term time plus INSET days

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging educational programs tailored for students who may struggle in traditional settings.
  • Utilize therapeutic teaching methods to create a supportive atmosphere for classroom management and student behavior.
  • Assist students facing challenges related to behavior, emotions, learning, and social communication.
  • Encourage and motivate students to achieve their highest potential.
  • Exhibit strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
