Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive support to patients and their families, ensuring a seamless experience throughout their cancer journey.
- Coordinate care pathways, ensuring timely and effective communication between healthcare professionals and patients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams, clinicians, and other stakeholders to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and databases to track patient progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide administrative support to the clinical team, including data collection, stock management, and report writing.
- Collaborate with other departments and external agencies to ensure a cohesive and effective service delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience of working in an NHS setting, preferably in a clinical or administrative role.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of commitment to patient care.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
