About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Researcher to join our team. As a key member of our UX Research team, you'll be responsible for leading and conducting research to inform our product development and improve user experiences.

Your primary focus will be on designing and conducting qualitative and quantitative research studies to gain a deeper understanding of our customers' needs and behaviors. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX Designers, Product Owners, and Stakeholders, to ensure that research findings are effectively integrated into our product roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Embed user research into our discovery and product development process, working closely with Research, Onsite Analytics, and Product Owners.
  • Deliver in-house and 3rd-party research, including setup, recruitment, moderation, data collection, analysis, and debrief.
  • Design and facilitate workshops to engage stakeholders and drive research insights.
  • Conduct primary and secondary user research to inform product decisions.
  • Develop and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research methods to ensure effective data collection and analysis.
  • Perform market and ethnographic research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and customer behaviors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and evaluate research topics.
  • Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations.
  • Drive accessibility within the UX Research team and ensure that research insights are effectively implemented across the organization.

Requirements

  • Mentoring skills to support the development of junior researchers.
  • Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Experience with user research methodologies, including user interviews, usability testing, and diary studies.
  • Competitor research skills to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey research findings to stakeholders.
  • A proactive and can-do attitude, with a focus on delivering high-quality research insights.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to seek out simple solutions to complex challenges.
  • Report writing skills to effectively communicate research findings.
  • Ability to recruit users for research studies.
  • Confidence in speaking with stakeholders to advocate research findings.
