Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Director to lead our construction operations, ensuring the successful delivery of multiple projects while driving growth and maintaining a commitment to quality. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy: Lead construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Contribute to strategic decisions to drive company growth and achieve turnover targets.
  • Site Oversight: Maintain a deep understanding of all active construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards. Regularly visit sites to monitor progress, provide guidance, and resolve issues.
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of projects. Ensure the seamless execution of projects from inception to completion.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop site teams, ensuring they are aligned with company objectives and equipped to deliver high-quality work.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Act as the key point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and addressing any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Background: Extensive experience in a main contracting environment, ideally within a medium-sized company. Tier one experience will also be considered.
  • Leadership Experience: Ideally already in a Director role, but we will consider candidates in senior management roles who are ready to step up.
