The Strategic Property portfolio encompasses a diverse range of buildings, including workshops, schools, depots, and libraries. As a Senior Valuation Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the property valuation service and effectively managing the Council's land and property portfolios.

You will provide strategic valuation advice to our Professional Lead, senior management team, and elected members. Additionally, you will contribute to the commercial and transactional sections of our estates practice by maximizing capital and revenue income through the optimization of our estate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on Council valuation and regeneration/re-development matters
  • Prepare and review Asset Valuations in accordance with RICS Red Book and CIPFA best practice
  • Implement the corporate rationalization programme to optimize the estate
  • Contribute to the commercial and transactional sections of the estates practice
