About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Huyton. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of pupils in our Year 1 class.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with pupils in the main classroom or smaller groups and occasional 1:1, providing support with core curriculum subjects.
  • Assist pupils who require guidance in their behaviour and concentration, as well as their academic work.
  • Collaborate with the teaching staff to develop and implement effective learning strategies.
Requirements
  • Hold a Level 2/ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification/ Childcare Qualification or an equivalent qualification.
  • Have reference-able experience working in a similar role in the last 2 years.
  • Be motivational, with a proven record of managing challenging behaviour and encouraging progress in pupils.
