About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Branch Assistant to join our team at Quay Plastics. As a key member of our trade counter team, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our branches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards within the trade counter area and warehouse.
  • Assist with health and safety compliance and ensure a safe working environment for all employees and customers.
  • Be competent with multi-drop deliveries and work with the Branch Manager and team to achieve branch performance targets.
  • Provide cover in the branch when required and be flexible to adapt to changing priorities.
Requirements
  • A friendly, welcoming attitude and energy to deliver what our customers require.
  • Be versatile and prepared to assist in all aspects of running the branch.
  • A full valid driving license is essential, and a forklift truck license would be preferable but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Previous experience in a driving role would be advantageous, but not essential as we provide full training.
  • Good organisational skills and be IT literate.
  • Experience in a trade counter environment would be preferred but not essential as the right attitude and drive will overcome any lack of this experience.
