About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our small software team. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for providing software design and development expertise to multi-disciplinary project groups in a dynamic working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing embedded software from requirements definition to product delivery, including documentation, design reviews, test/integration, and commissioning.
  • Working with Linux on X86 architecture and programming in C/C++.
  • Taking responsibility for key areas of system through requirement capture to product delivery.
  • Meeting demanding technical and commercial requirements with minimal supervision.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Real-time software development.
  • Device driver development.
  • Human Machine Interface (HMI) development/configuration and control.
  • Video stream processing/manipulation.
  • Experience with design methods and tools (UML/Enterprise Architect).
  • Experience with Texas Instruments micro-controllers and Code Composer IDE.
  • Experience developing applications using Qt.
