**About the Trust**

We provide mental health and learning disability care for people across Norfolk and Suffolk. We support a population of just over 1.6 million people and employ more than 4,700 staff. Our biggest bases are at Hellesdon Hospital, Norwich, Wedgwood House, Bury St Edmunds and Woodlands Unit in Ipswich but our staff are based in more than 50 locations.

**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Provide technology support to NSFT Field Support Technicians.
- Testing of equipment as well as making modifications where necessary.
- Identifying issues with build and notifying Infrastructure Manager
- Use good judgement to prioritise own workload and manage stress levels during busy periods, referring to Team Leader when required.
- Always ensure compliance to the Trust policies and specifically regarding confidentiality of information about staff, patients, and corporate business.
- Logging of service requests, ensuring that correct authorisation has been received.
- Progression through to resolution of service requests according to the agreed process and procedures.
- Communication with the end user as to the status of outstanding service requests.
- Working with procurement and suppliers in purchasing software and hardware that is required by our customers.

**The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.**

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:

- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- GCSE standard or equivalent in a computer related qualification
- Experience in a similar or same role
- Stock Management knowledge
- Asset Management experience
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent organisation skills
- Microsoft package knowledge - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

**You may have to show evidence in an education to Diploma level or ECDL or at least 2 years’ experience.**
