Customer Project Tendering Specialist

Mission :
As part of the Digital Power Solutions team, deliver comprehensive technical assistance to Sales & Tendering teams throughout the pre-sales and tendering stages of intricate, multi-technology customer projects.
Ensure that customer service expectations are met while aligning with Schneider Electric's business objectives to achieve and surpass quotation lead times and conversion rates from quotation to order.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership, including functional guidance, in defining the optimal architecture and technical solution tailored to customer requirements.
- Identify and manage technical risks, including all interface considerations, and develop mitigation strategies to create compliant and optimized proposals.
- Assume responsibility for the technical viability of the proposed architecture and solutions, serving as a Subject Matter Expert in multi-technology architectural design for clients.
- Develop and maintain a repository of optimized 'core' system architectures that can serve as a foundation for crafting project-specific proposals or quickly responding to budgetary inquiries.
- Establish and maintain a collection of optimized 'core' system Bills of Materials (BoMs) to support the generation of project-specific proposals or expedite responses to budgetary requests.
- Engage in the RFQ/RFP evaluation and Bid/No Bid decision-making process to ensure alignment of required solutions with Schneider Electric's project and product offerings.
- Strong knowledge and experience in the following areas:
- Automation solutions and product expertise, including use case applications and functionalities necessary for recommending suitable Power Monitoring Systems, SCADA, Automation, Protection, and RTU solutions.
- Familiarity with HV and LV Electrical distribution systems.
- Awareness of competitor offerings and current switchgear technologies.
- Understanding of the company's manufacturing and purchasing strategies, as well as manufacturing capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in cross-cultural environments.
- Proficient in PC, Windows, and Office 365 applications.
- Essential: Degree/HNC level in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Desirable: Training in Project Management, Commercial Management, Contract Management, or Purchasing.
