Neuro-disability Fundraising Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Fundraising Executive to join our small and friendly Fundraising Department at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in raising funds for vital therapies and services for our patients and residents, as well as supporting capital projects such as ward refurbishments and new facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Community Fundraising Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including the organisation of fundraising events, stewardship of existing relationships, and identification of new fundraising opportunities.
- Provide exceptional supporter care and stewardship to our community and challenge supporters, ensuring a first-class experience and maximising fundraising potential.
- Support the delivery of a range of community fundraising events, including the Christmas Fair, Bridge events, and school fun runs, as well as supporting volunteers in organising their own events.
- Build and maintain relationships with new community groups, identifying opportunities for partnership and collaboration.
- Work closely with the Communications Team to develop marketing and digital plans for fundraising activities, ensuring effective promotion and engagement with our supporters.
- Minimum of 1 year community fundraising experience, with a proven track record of success.
- Excellent networking, relationship-building, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well as part of a team, as well as being self-motivated and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Comfortable in an environment interacting with profoundly disabled patients, with a positive and enthusiastic approach to supporting event participants.
- Confidence in writing marketing and promotional copy, as well as using Microsoft programmes and databases.
- Full Clean driving licence and access to a car, with the ability to travel as required.
