About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our friendly and motivated team at Manpower RPO - Babcock. As a Project Manager, you will have a role that's out of the ordinary, working on a project that's focused on site-wide waste demand, governance, project integration, and technical support to the business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Planning and Management: Prepare a business case for approval, including the development and update of a fully costed programme and financially managing the project throughout the project lifecycle.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain a strong and open relationship with key stakeholders identified for the project and pursue resolution of technical or conflicting project requirements.
  3. Budgeting and Cost Management: Prepare budget proposals and monitor costs to completion, preparing appropriate reports for accountability meetings with stakeholders.
  4. Contract Management: Develop Statements of Requirements and evaluate tender responses, making written recommendations to assist with the selection of competent contractors for the supply of equipment and services.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Significant experience within a project management delivery environment.
  2. Organization and Communication: Able to demonstrate a high level of organization with the ability to self-manage and produce information and output reports, with excellent communication skills to liaise with senior stakeholders.
  3. Qualifications: HNC in an engineering subject or equivalent experience, and an appropriate Project Management qualification.
