Job Summary:

The successful Area Sales Manager will need a positive and can-do attitude with a proven track record of equipment and machinery sales to manage and develop existing customer accounts, as well as generate new sales opportunities and enquiries, and convert these to orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing existing customer accounts and identifying potential sales opportunities – existing and new customers
  • Providing first-class customer-focused service
  • Providing quotations to customers and converting enquiries into sales
  • Establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business relationships to encourage repeat business
  • Planning and arranging customer visits through solid call plans

Requirements:

  • Previous equipment and machinery sales experience – new, refurbished, and spares
  • Manufacturing, engineering, or steel/metal industry background
  • Managing and developing customer accounts
  • Generating sales enquiries, providing quotations, and converting to orders
  • Developing positive customer relationships

Additional Requirements:
