Role Purpose:
We are seeking a highly experienced and operational Pharmacist to take on the role of Pharmacy Operations Manager, leading our Pharmacy Services at LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare Ltd. This role is critical in managing the safe and efficient operations of prescription building and query management, ensuring patients receive their correct medication on time and in compliance with our Quality Management System (QMS) and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Lead and manage a team of pharmacists and support staff to ensure seamless prescription processing and query management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Pharmacist registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Proven experience in pharmacy operations management, preferably in a clinical homecare setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex data and implement process improvements.
