Pearson BTEC International Qualifications Trainer

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced trainer to deliver full-day and online qualification-based courses internationally for Pearson BTEC International Qualifications. As a trainer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all objectives are met within the training session, presenting information in a way that is suited to the customer and environment, and dealing appropriately with all customer queries in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality training sessions to adult delegates, ensuring that all objectives are met within the training session.
  • Present information in a way that is suited to the customer and environment, using materials prepared by our team of qualification-based writers.
  • Deal appropriately with all customer queries in a professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Manage own time and travel arrangements, ensuring that all training sessions are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Complete and submit a summary feedback form for every session delivered, ensuring that training session delegate feedback is scored consistently within expectations.

Requirements

  • Experience of teaching a Pearson BTEC International Specification.
  • Experience of delivering effective training to adult delegates.
  • A good understanding of the qualification and assessment principles.
  • A high level of subject knowledge in order to deliver the training.
  • Teaching, administration, assessment or management experience in the relevant subject and level.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Confidence using laptops, internet and Microsoft Powerpoint, and demonstrable experience of using technology to support training delivery.
  • The ability to manage the learning and development of a range of teaching professionals who may bring to bear a range of differing viewpoints.
  • A positive attitude towards all forms of feedback.
  • Commitment to own professional development.
  • The ability to represent Pearson appropriately whilst delivering training according to our contractual terms and conditions.
  • Bilingual, with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English and Arabic.
