Job Title: General Manager- Logistics and Distribution

Superdrug & Savers

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our Logistics and Distribution team. As a key member of our Supply Chain leadership team, you will be responsible for implementing our business strategy and objectives, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of products to our stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a future-fit logistics business strategy in collaboration with the wider Supply Chain team.
  • Lead a diverse team of Distribution Centre Managers, providing coaching and feedback to ensure they deliver their objectives, SLAs, and business KPIs.
  • Build strong relationships within the business to work collaboratively between Supply Chain and Retail Operations, ensuring data-driven feedback is provided accurately and constructively.
  • Analyze available data to identify performance gaps, KPI risks, and find new opportunities to improve efficiencies and productivity within the distribution network.
  • Work in collaboration with the People Team to highlight opportunities for development and progression, growing talent internally to support future business needs.
Requirements:
  • Ability to lead with confidence and be the subject matter expert on logistics and distribution matters.
  • A strong commercial and financial mindset that shapes an understanding of how a successful distribution network operates.
  • Motivated by delivering results and finding new ways to improve performance.
