Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to join our dynamic Information Team as a Lead Information Analyst on a permanent basis. This role will involve providing guidance and management to the information analysts within the team, ensuring the delivery of critical information on both a regular and ad hoc basis.
This is a pivotal moment for Information Services at Sherwood Forest Hospitals, as we are initiating a significant transformation project with the rollout of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system. This advancement will allow us to harness the opportunities presented by digitalization, thereby enhancing the quality of care and safety for all patients while optimizing resource utilization across divisions.
We offer the possibility of remote work following the initial training period for the successful candidate, and we strive to accommodate flexible working arrangements whenever feasible.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing the information generated by the Information & Insight Team, ensuring timely delivery for both routine and special requests.
This position will require effective management of workloads and deadlines to meet mandated reporting obligations, including submissions, contracting, and responses to Freedom of Information Requests.
Additionally, the role will involve facilitating internal communication to guarantee the efficient provision of information to various services. The candidate will be expected to address and fulfill complex requests promptly, even when datasets are not readily accessible.
The position necessitates sourcing, validating, accurately interpreting, and presenting data to provide precise and relevant answers to inquiries.
Furthermore, the successful candidate will be responsible for offering clear and concise guidance to information analysts in executing their information requests.
