Job Summary:

As a Learning Disabilities Healthcare Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to achieve their personal goals and participate in community activities. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that they are tailored to meet the individual needs of our clients.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 months of experience working with individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Confidence in performing physical interventions, including restraint training.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, mental health conditions, and other complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
