Job Title: Support Worker

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Within the employer's home

Job Purpose: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Support Worker to assist our employer with various activities, enabling them to maintain an independent and fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with domestic tasks, such as laundry, housework, and meal preparation
  • Support with mobility, ensuring the employer's safety
  • Provide personal care and assist with leisure activities
  • Ensure the employer's home is clean, hygienic, and safe
  • Work in a safe way and highlight health and safety concerns
  • Assist with management of the employer's health risks
  • Establish and maintain effective communication
  • Maintain confidentiality

Requirements:

  • Experience of providing care
  • Consistency
  • Motivated
  • Organised
  • Driver
  • Good sense of humour
  • Patient
  • Ability to understand and deliver the needs of the employer
  • Ability to undertake domestic activities
  • Flexible, reliable, and honest
  • Good general fitness
  • An enhanced DBS check will be required

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends and overnight stays

Rate of Pay: £11.44 per hour
