Job Title: Construction Project Manager/Coordinator Emergency Services

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager/Coordinator to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our emergency services team, you will be responsible for managing construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring the delivery of safe working practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management of construction projects, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Collaboration with key stakeholders, including project team members, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Development and implementation of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Monitoring and controlling project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management, including reporting to senior management and project sponsors.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in construction project management, preferably in a public sector or emergency services environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction practices, including health and safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
