FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Location: Bournemouth area

Compensation: Up to £11.45 per hour

Work Schedule: 15 hours per week/ Part Time

We are currently in search of a part-time Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic work environment. Reporting to the Regional Maintenance Manager, you will be involved in various projects across different sites to ensure that the facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in maintenance tasks
  • Valid clean driving license and personal transportation
  • Relevant qualifications in the maintenance sector are preferred
  • A clear and valid DBS check is required
  • Minimum GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all equipment within the premises to ensure the health and safety of both children and adults.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Maintenance Manager, or in their absence, the Director of Facilities, to ensure that work is completed within the allocated budget for each site.
  • Work closely with the nursery manager and regional manager to ensure that all facilities and equipment meet the needs of children and staff.
  • Proactively inspect sites for necessary repairs and upgrades, advising the Regional Maintenance Manager or Director of Facilities accordingly.
  • Coordinate with the Regional Maintenance Manager or Director of Facilities to prioritize urgent maintenance needs across sites.
