Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Millbrook Primary and Nursery School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality educational programs for students in our wraparound provision.
  • Lead and manage a team of support staff to ensure the smooth operation of our after-school care services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance student engagement and motivation.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in education, with a focus on teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a track record of achieving results.

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to plan and deliver engaging educational programs.
