Position Summary
The Technical Project Manager (TPM) will report directly to the PMO Manager and collaborate closely with sales, operations, and project management teams. This pivotal role is essential for the coordination, oversight, financial reporting, and successful delivery of services that drive our clients' growth.
The TPM will represent Excelerate360 and its partner organizations, requiring a blend of authority, adaptability, resourcefulness, and motivation. The ideal candidate will possess strong teamwork skills and a methodical, detail-oriented approach to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to project standards.
- Engage with clients through both in-person and virtual meetings, utilizing video conferencing and collaboration tools effectively.
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects while managing high volumes of change and pressure.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including status reports, technical designs, and communication plans.
- Foster excellent communication with clients, ensuring clarity on technical, business, and process drivers throughout the project.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven experience in project management, particularly within data centre environments, with a minimum of 3 years in end-to-end project management.
- Strong technical background in data centre operations, including knowledge of server, storage, and network infrastructures.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and managing project milestones and quality standards.
- Ability to manage relationships with partners, suppliers, and clients, ensuring effective scope management across global teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile, along with ITIL service management principles.
Qualifications
- Minimum degree level education or equivalent.
- Clean driving license.
